Marlborough Minders Holiday Camp

– May Half Term 2026

We are delighted to announce that our popular Marlborough Minders Holiday Camp will return during the May half term holidays.

Our holiday camp provides a safe, familiar, and engaging environment for children, offering flexible childcare and a wide range of enriching activities led by trusted Marlborough staff.

Children will enjoy a fun-filled holiday experience with opportunities to learn new skills, build friendships, and stay active in a safe and supportive environment.

The camp is open to both Marlborough Primary School pupils and children from other local schools.

Camp Dates

The holiday camp will run on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 26th May 2026
  • Wednesday 27th May 2026
  • Thursday 28th May 2026
  • Friday 29th May 2026
  • Monday 1st June 2026

Opening Hours

We offer two flexible booking options:

Mega Day - 9:00am – 5:00pm

Maxi Day - 8:00am – 6:00pm

Whether you require full-day childcare or simply want your child to enjoy fun activities and social time with friends, Marlborough Minders is here to help.

Who Can Attend

The camp is open to children currently in:

  • Reception
  • Year 1
  • Year 2
  • Year 3
  • Year 4
  • Year 5
  • Year 6

We welcome both Marlborough pupils and children from other schools.

If your child does not attend Marlborough Primary School, please contact the school office to arrange booking and payment.

What’s On Offer

Each day is packed with exciting, age-appropriate activities, including:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Sports and team games
  • Outdoor play and forest activities
  • Science investigations
  • Cookery activities
  • Reading and quiet time
  • Board games and puzzles
  • Team-building challenges

Activities may vary daily to ensure children experience a wide range of fun and engaging opportunities.

Food and Drinks

  • Children must:

    • Eat breakfast before arriving
    • Bring a nut-free packed lunch
    • Bring snacks for the day
    • Bring a labelled refillable water bottle

    Due to allergies within our school community, Marlborough Minders is a nut-free setting.

What to Bring

To help your child have a comfortable and enjoyable day at camp, please ensure they arrive with:

  • A nut-free packed lunch and snacks
  • A labelled refillable water bottle
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for active play
  • Appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather (e.g. raincoat, warm layers, or sun hat)
  • Comfortable trainers or suitable footwear
  • A spare change of clothes (particularly recommended for younger children)

During warmer weather, please ensure:

  • Sun cream is applied before arrival
  • Your child brings a sun hat

Please clearly label all belongings with your child’s name.

Children should not bring valuables, toys, or electronic devices to camp.

Supervision and Safeguarding

The camp is led by experienced Marlborough staff who are:

    • DBS checked
    • First aid trained
    • Safeguarding trained

    We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children feel happy, secure, and encouraged to try new experiences and make friendships.

Fees and Booking

A Booking Agreement Form is available from the school office or can be downloaded from our website.

  • The Booking Agreement Form should be returned to the school office as soon as possible.

  • Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is strongly advised.

  • Fee details are outlined in the booking form.

  • Payments must be made via Scopay. We welcome both Marlborough pupils and children from other schools. If your child does not attend Marlborough Primary School, please contact the school office to arrange booking and payment.

  • If you are using Government Tax-Free Childcare vouchers, please provide photographic evidence of your Transaction, which will then be credited to your account to enable you to book online.

  • All bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Our Commitment to Special Educational Needs (SEN) & Accessibility

Marlborough Minders Holiday Camp aims to be accessible to all children. We currently do not have the resources to provide dedicated one-on-one support for your child. If you have concerns about the suitability of the holiday camp, please contact the school office or email us at:
